Many people that make the trip to Huisinis take up residence on the fantastic beach and go no further. It is very beautiful and nearly always sheltered from any wind. However, walk beyond the end of the main beach and you will find a wonderful walk over a low hill to a number of smaller, more intimate beaches. Even on the busiest of days, you will generally get one of them all to yourself. Watch the birds in the bay or look up the 1000 feet hill behind: Huiseabhal Beag. We once saw a mother Ringed Plover here, feigning an injured wing to distract us from her newly fledged chicks – very special.
