Dalbeg is situated on the west coast of Lewis. The next stop west is Newfoundland, Canada. Since most of our weather comes from the southwest, it’s not uncommon for it to be overcast all the way to pouring with rain. However, on the occasional evenings where the sky is clear, and the sun has dipped below the horizon, we get some of the most magnificent red skies at night which, as we all know, is a shepherd’s delight and a portent of great weather to come. You might think, seen one, seen them all; you would be wrong! Every occasion is unique, and a reminder the incomparable beauty that surrounds us, accessible to all.
