Description

I can’t pass a ruin without wondering who lived in it and what went on to make up their lives. Even after they have been deserted, there are little clues that hint at their history. For instance, there is an old enamelled bath to the right of the front door where perhaps tweed was dyed. The rusty remains of a once vibrant tractor is peeking round the far end of the ruin. And what used to seek refuge under that rusty coloured tarpaulin by the shed door? Fascinating!
