Description

As a young boy, any opening was an invitation, a portal to a parallel universe. Who knows what may lie inside? Stepping into this cleit, from the bright sunlight of this wondrous St Kildan day, it took a moment or two for my eyes to adjust to the darkness. Inside was spacious but, like the others on the islands, empty save for decades of sheep poo and the heady aroma that accompanies it!
