Description

When the rain comes on Harris, it can be sudden and heavy. And it can end just as quickly. The sun comes out and the world moves on. However, all that water has to find its way to the sea. With so little soil covering the ancient rock, it runs off quickly and surges down the burns, turning the water a deep brown and carrying with it everything in its path. Catch this process on a good day and you can sit for hours watching, listening and feeling.
