Description

The iconic image of St Kilda is that of a group of men sitting outside one of the houses on Main Street, holding a parliament, where they discussed the work to be done that day, and agreed on responsibilities. That image always felt as if the observer was outside what was happening, looking in. I suspect this view would have been more familiar to the islanders.
